Philip Bayliss established St Albans Osteopathy in 2004. He qualified as an osteopath in the UK in 1986 and immigrated to New Zealand in 1997, establishing a practice in Wanganui, where he worked until he moved to Christchurch, Canterbury. He offers a personalised service based on his long experience and extensive studies at the worlds leading osteopaths at all the main osteopath training institutes. He is expert at both the diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions, with excellent results. He is a safe, gentle and effective osteopath. His patients range from new-borns to senior citizens and include problems of pregnancy, sports injuries, headaches and migraines. Osteopaths don't only treat bone, they treat all tissues of the musculoskeletal system including muscle, joints, fascia, tendons, ligaments etc. Philip has a whole person and whole body approach, treating the underlying causes of your symptoms. Philip welcomes your enquiries, and will answer your questions to the best of his ability. His fees are highly competitive - private osteopath appointments are $60 ($50 for children and full-time students under 22) and ACC osteopath appointments are $30 ($25 for children and full-time students under 22). After-hours osteopath appointments are available (subject to availability).
ACC
Osteopath treatment is available on ACC. ACC covers all personal injuries caused by force or resistance that's external to the body. Both work and non-work related injuries are covered. Philip is an ACC provider and can help you register a new claim, provided that the accident occurred within the last year. The amount of osteopath treatment that you can have depends on the nature of the injury.
